7 Steps To Romanticize Your Life In 2023

We all want to become someone in life.

You may want to be an artist, an influencer, an entrepreneur, a YouTuber, or a successful person in general.

But before we achieve those, we need to know how to live in the moment while waiting for that time to come.

Here is the only guide you need to manifest and romanticize the life you desire in 2023.

Self Investment

For you to romanticize your life, you need three things. A self-care routine, some doable daily habits, and a good taste in fashion

#1 Self-Care Routine

Have you ever tried going out confidently knowing you haven't showered for days, haven't put any makeup on, and left all your best clothes on display?

Having a self-care routine is essential for you to gain confidence. Without it, you'll always hold back from becoming your best self, and we don't want that!

A self-care routine typically includes taking good care of your face, hair, body, and mental wellbeing. By doing so, you need a productive routine and some good products that'll help you feel on top of the world.

#2 Daily Habits

In our previous blog, we talked about how models like Kendall Jenner go about their day with six daily habits. Now it's time to establish your own, and I'm here to help you with that.

Daily habits are things you do every day without thought, without fail, and without brainpower. It is so ingrained in your mind that it becomes your "default setting".

Here are some steps to build these kinds of daily habits.

-Set out your short-term and long-term goals. Try to list them down on a piece of paper or a note app, and try to stick with it.

-Figure out what kind of habits you want to implement that can cater to your busy schedule. Do you want to read more books or start waking up early? Give yourself some time to ponder about it and write it down.

-Find a platform where you can track and list down the habits you want to start doing. Some of the apps I use are Google Spreadsheet, Habit Tracker, Fabulous Daily Routine, and the best one—Notion!

#3 Dress Well

Know how accessories and jewelry levels up our look once we put them on? Or how you look so classy when you start picking the right clothes and styling them well?

Dressing well and staying well-groomed convey more than just power, authority, and confidence. It shows that you have self-respect.

The way you decide to present yourself to the world is how they'll take you, always remember.

Self-Awareness

For you to romanticize your life, you should know what you want, who you want to become, and what value you can give.

#4 What Do You Want?

Do you want to be successful, do you want to be famous, or do you want a simple life? The answer to that lies within you. As early as possible, you have to figure it out. Without it, you'll be flowing like the waves without any direction or destination.

#5 Who Do You Want to Become?

Either by looking at TikTok edits, reading successful stories, or just by simply watching a Netflix movie, knowing who you want to become will really help you set out realistic goals and find motivation to do your best every day. By surrounding yourself with people who can influence you in a positive way, you'll be surprised by the improvements you'll make in a year.

#6 Know Your Worth

Will you ever become the person you want to be when you let others dictate it for you?

No right?

Knowing your worth can be really difficult for some people. It takes a lot of "me time" and self reflection, but it's not impossible! Here are some ways you could start acknowledging yourself for who you are—and actually be proud of it.

-Maintain a positive mindset. Don't let others affect your day. Keep on moving and leave all the negativity behind.

-Recognize what makes you different from others. Are you good at art? At dancing? Or maybe at singing? Try to figure out what makes you unique from others, and keep on investing in what you do best until you become unreachable.

-Be clear about your beliefs and principles.

Stand your ground. Keep your chin up and your head high. You are your own person; Don't let anyone dim your own spotlight.

-Prioritize yourself. If you like taking care of other people before yourself, here is a quote for you.

"Take care of yourself like you take care of others."

If you have a child, will you let him or her starve? If you have a friend, would you let them get bullied? No right?

Your worth is a crucial component in romanticizing your life, and it starts by looking out for yourself. Try to focus on who you can become if you silence others' opinions. You'll thank me later!

Empowering mindset

#7 Act Like You're The Main Character

When watching a movie or reading a book, we always associate the main character with a song that matches their vibe. Or, better yet, we would make a Pinterest board for them. Why not try doing it for ourselves? Here is how you can manifest that main character energy

-Stop people-pleasing. Just stop. They'll keep on using you until you run out of battery.

-Set goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them. Be a high achiever, be a dreamer, and be ambitious. People won't give you success; you have to work for it.

-Take charge of your own happiness. Don't give that task to anyone. Once they leave, your happiness goes along with them.

-Seek out new opportunities, and don't be afraid to take risks. Who cares if you're delusional? It's your life anyway; own it.

-Stay true to yourself. Just be you. Let other people love you for who you are, instead of who you're not.

-Take responsibility for your actions. If you make a mistake, learn from it. Everyone makes mistakes, even those who you wanted to be. But what makes them different? They didn't dwell on the embarrassment; heck, they didn't even let it bother them. Those experiences would help you climb further up the ladder; don't be afraid and just be.

Romanticizing your life means being in control and making choices that are true to yourself. It’s about being proactive and taking charge of your own happiness and wellbeing.

Remember, you are the author of your life, and you have the power to shape it. Be the woman you once aspired to be.
